and Bloodhound SSC story

Cisco is the Networking and Video Partner for BLOODHOUND SSC.

Cisco and Bloodhound have common ethos and values - collaboration, openness, sharing, and working in support of education to support the future. Bloodhound wants to inspire a new generation of engineers who will build the high-technology world of the future. Cisco wants to empower, encourage, and enable a great feat of engineering to take place, and to play a part in inspiring the future.

As Bloodhound's Networking and Video Partner, Cisco's Borderless Network and Collaboration architectures, WebEx and TelePresence infrastructure are bringing people together. Allowing the team, engineers, students and members of the 1K Club to communicate with each other, even when separated by thousands of miles

Cisco is delighted to be powering Cisco Bloodhound TV (BHTV). A new video channel giving the Bloodhound team an exciting new way to reach its audience around the world and ‘share the adventure’. Audiences will be kept up to date and taken behind the scenes of the Project as it advances - giving insight into the manufacture and testing of the car and updates directly from members of the team - via bi-monthly films produced and narrated by Stefan Marjoram at Aardman Studios.  And of course relaying data, images and interviews from the Hakskeen Pan into homes and schools worldwide.
