Upcoming Events & Ambassador Opportunities

The Bloodhound Education Programme “Flagship” educational event that features: The Show Car, Driving Experience, The Rocket, The Wheel, schools presentations and activities, Community and Business Presentations will be holding major educational events throughout the UK over the coming months. 

Some of the Events will feature Keynote Presentations from Richard Noble and Andy Green and many will offer open access to members of the public and 1K Club Members.

February 20th – 24th Northampton College – The First County Event supported by Cosworth

February 29th – 1st March South Essex College, Basildon

March 5th – 6th Peterborough College

March 12th – 13th Cornwall College

March 20th -21st Chichester College

March 22nd – 23rd Sandwell College

 

The Ambassador Programme is designed to support our Schools and College events and all support will be gratefully received; please contact Joanna Robinson if you would like to support our Educational Out-Reach work

 

Other Events

January 27th – Eastbourne Science Festival – A day of Science activities including Balloon Cars and mini-presentations.

January 31st – February 2nd – Cisco Live – ExCel Centre London – A Showcase event for Cisco clients and the launch of Bloodhound Film Competition.

11th February – Brighton Science Festival - A day of Science activities including Balloon Cars and mini-presentations.

18th February – Sandown Racecourse Event – Full Size Show Car and Display

7th March – Annual UWE Bloodhound Lecture – Andy Green speaking

10th March – Southampton University Family Science Day – A Family Fun Day supporting Southampton University Science Week, Show Car, BDE and Display

14th March – Children’s University Doncaster – A day of Bloodhound activities for local KS2 pupils

15th -17th March – National Big Bang, NEC – The launch of National Science Week – Show Car, BDE, Displays and STEM activities working with sponsors and partners to promote Bloodhound as the leading STEM Project in the UK.  This will be the launch platform for the Rocket Car Challenge (supported by Guinness World Records)

26th March – Engineering Education Scheme Wales, Celtic Manor, Newport – EESW Annual STEM Celebration – Full Show Package with Guest Speakers

 

Diary Dates

28th June – 1st July – Goodwood Festival of Speed – Enough said!!

9th – 15th July – Farnborough International Airshow – Europe’s largest Military and Civilian Airshow.  Held bi-annually this is the premier Airshow in the UK this year.

Ambassador Training

The following Ambassador Training Sessions have been booked for the early part of the year.  The Training is designed to enable Ambassadors to have a greater understanding of working with young people and some of the techniques that make Bloodhound sessions more effective and engaging.

9th May – Preston

11th May – Sheffield/Rotherham
