From time to time, there are vacancies on the BLOODHOUND Education Team that we are looking to fill.

We currently have the following opportunity:

Curriculum Programmes Development Director 

This exciting and important role within the BLOODHOUND education team (BET) will focus on the development of curriculum support materials across all phases of education (primary through to HE). Identifying suitable curriculum opportunities by gaining feedback from education, the job holder will select the most suitable route to production, either by using in-house or external experts. The material will be sourced with the support of the BLOODHOUND engineering team.

We also currently work with a number of expert intervention organisations that use the BLOODHOUND theme in their education programmes. The job holder will ensure these materials are up to date and relevant. These interventions also develop curriculum materials that are suitable for use by schools and colleges and by BLOODHOUND Ambassadors. Also, there will be a growth in the number of interventions that work with us over the next three years and this needs to be managed and suitable organisations identified.

The curriculum materials will need to cover all the STEM subjects and also English, ICT, history and geography etc. The job holder will therefore require an extensive knowledge of the STEM curriculum at all levels and imminent changes. There is also a requirement to identify additional funding opportunities to ensure the BLOODHOUND education programme reaches as many schools, colleges and universities as possible.

There will be a need to support BLOODHOUND education, promotional, 1K Club and media events, necessitating being part of the team at weekends and evenings. This is definitely not a 9 – 5 job!
