The BLOODHOUND Engineering Adventure will have a presence at the following public events:

Brighton Science Festival Bright Sparks Day - 11th February 2012

The BLOODHOUND SSC Education Team will be in Brighton for the Bright Sparks Day with the balloon car challenge! Please see their website for for information.

Speed at Sandown - Sandown Race Course - 18th February 2012

The BLOODHOUND SSC Driving Experience and other display items will be at the Speed Record Cars feature at the Toy Collectors Fair at Sandown Racecourse in Esher, Surrey on Saturday 18th February. More details of the event is on their website

Open Evening, Northampton College - 22nd February 2012

As part of Northampton College’s wider Open Event, prospective students and the general public are invited to visit the Booth Lane site from 5pm to 9pm and see the Bloodhound SSC exhibition. The College will be open in all its teaching areas to offer advice and guidance on their full range of courses and career opportunities. There will be a presentation about the Bloodhound SSC project, a visit to the Bloodhound SSC exhibition with the simulated highspeed driving experience and full size Show Car, plus much more.

Science Week Family Day - University of Southampton - 10th March 2012
 
University of Southampton Science Week attracts over three thousand visitors (school children and their families) and in 2009 won the British Science Association award for ‘Best Engineering Event in 2009’. Bloodhound SSC will be in a marquee as one of the activities with the full size Show Car, the Driving Experience, Rocket Model, Wheel, Balloon Car activities, etc.

National Big Bang Fair - National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham - 15th to 17th March 2012

The BLOODHOUND SSC Show Car and Driving Experience will be at the NAtional Big Bang Fair mat the NEC. This free event is a great opportunity for students and children to experience science, technology, engineering and maths up close in a fresh new way.

MACH Show - NEC - 16th-20th April 2012

We will be at the UK's premier manufacturing technologies event in the Education and Training area in Hall 4. MACH is targeted to those within the manufacturing sector but it is open to all the public and anyone is welcome to attend. Entrance is free, but you do need to register to attend. IET Lecture - Swindon - 24th April 2012

Daniel Jubb will be giving a talk on BLOODHOUND SSC's Hybrid Rocket system on Tuesday 24th April at 7pm at Intel Corporation Ltd, Pipers Way, Swindon. The talk will conclude with a look forward to the next stage of the Bloodhound programme. Click here for more details.
