A simplified model of a BLOODHOUND SSC wheel is a solid uniform disc of aluminium (Fig1).

Q. What will be the rotational kinetic energy of one of these modeled wheels when the car is at 1,000mph?

The wheel has a mass of 97kg and a 910mm diameter.
