BLOODHOUND is delighted to announce a Product Sponsorship partnership with Special Events Services (SES) for provision of mobile technology environments.
SES are sponsoring the provision of the BLOODHOUND Mission Control Centre (MCC) - this critical operational resource is in place at the BLOODHOUND Technical Centre and fit out is already underway.
"All of the communications, video and data from BLOODHOUND SSC and the desert operations will go through this vital work space before then being shared with the world. The trailer SES have provided is absolutely ideal for our needs" said Sarah Covell Head of IT and MCC Project Manager for BLOODHOUND. “This dedicated unit includes a large pop out side and a built in 10 metre pump up communications mast and emergency generator - all in all its a great base from which to create the Mission Control Centre for operating the world’s most advanced land vehicle. We will be announcing other key partners for the MCC soon - watch this space!”
As well as providing the vital MCC, SES will also be supplying the Desert Studio from where daily BLOODHOUND TV episodes will be produced and the visiting media will file their stories.
We are currently working to find an additional funding partner to sponsor the cost of this Studio, a package that will include naming rights to the studio itself.
The Desert Studio is on display at the Goodwood Festival of Speed where it will be used as an education resource, giving children the chance to be roving reporters and make TV reports on the BLOODHOUND Project.
