Sarah Covell

Sarah Covell

As part of my course studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of the West of England, Bristol, I had the option to take a year out on industrial placement.  This is taken in the 3rd year of a 4 year course and gives students like myself the opportunity to apply the theory learnt so far and learn the many new skills needed to have a successful career.

I have been following the development of the Bloodhound Project since I was invited to the Launch in London last October. I have helped out at 1K Club meetings since then, and I feel incredibly lucky to have been asked to join the team and work on the Project.
