Great news from South Africa. The amazing network of high speed phone masts, built just for BLOODHOUND, is now complete. This is a huge commitment from MTN, the mobile phone company providing the network for us.

The Advanced Engineering UK 2013 group of events brings together FIVE interlinked high value engineering and technology industries under one giant roof – providing a unique intensive 2 day business networking, capability sourcing and technology/best practice experience. Bloodhound SSC will be supporting HVM Catapult and Nuclear AMRC on the main Advance Engineering in Action Feature stand at the event and will have the Show Car, EJ200 and other items from the car on display. It’s the 3rd of September and as ever, the summer holiday period has provided an ongoing challenge to keep momentum going! With key personnel from Bloodhound having a few days sanity with families and with many manufactures, even the small ones, choosing to shut down briefly as the lesser of two evils on minimising the impact of the holiday period. It takes a focused approach to keep things moving over this period.

This month there’s some good news and bad news, depending on how you look at it. After a project review by leading management consultants BMT Hi-Q Sigma, our build plan will now deliver BLOODHOUND SSC ready to run in 2015.
