Episode 1 records the moment the first metal components for BLOODHOUND's chassis were manufactured at Hampson Industries.
Friday 12th August 2011: After several days (and long nights) preparing his new UK rocket facility, Daniel Jubb and his Falcon rocket team successfully fired the development 6 inch diameter hybrid rocket today.
On the 30th April, we announced our wheel manufacturer, Castle Precision Engineering, who will take on the manufacture of both the UK runway and desert wheels.

Today, at the Science Media Centre, London, The BLOODHOUND Project outlined the upcoming test of its unique hybrid rocket, which will take place at The Aerohub, Newquay Cornwall Airport, on 3rd October 2012.

Today, at the Aerohub, Newquay Cornwall Airport, the BLOODHOUND Project successfully tested its unique hybrid rocket system, for first time.
URT Group has been announced as a technical partner in the ground breaking Bloodhound SSC (Supersonic Car) project. URT will construct the carbon fibre monocoque safety cell and seat for the land speed record vehicle, which is designed to reach speeds of 1,000mph.
